New Project

On one of my cross stitch groups Friendly Stitchers Yahoo Group, one of the ladies, Mouse,  has designed a new Band Sampler called Dawn of Spring.  I am going to join this SAL and have stepped right out of my comfort zone with my choice of fabric - Lime Green and have chosen Silk thread from Victoria Clayton called Dragons Hoard. See the picture below:

UFO Finish

I found a bag full of UFO's that I forgot I had last night and decided I would work on a couple this weekend.  Today DH has had to work all day and I have been at home all day and managed to finish this one.  It's great to have a substantial finish done.  The fabric is luminescent but you cannot see it very well.

This was a great stitch and colours that I wouldn't normally go for, but I love them.

I am stitching it on 32ct Lugana, Violet Mist, from Silkweaver.  The Variegated thread is Anchor 325 (I didnt realise I was using Anchor!!!)

1st, 2nd and 3rd Crazy Progress

Here is my progress on my first 3 Crazies, the first one is the Gazette House, the second one I have actually finished and is ready to be made into a Christmas Tree Decoration, and the third one is the Pagoda biscornu which I am loving stitching and cannot wait to complete.

These will not be completed until next month as I need to go and buy some stuffing as I have run out and I need to go and buy some backing fabrics.

New Stash

This arrived today from Tempting Tangles Designs I seem to remember someone pointed out the website enabling me to add to my stash ........................how cheeky of them!!!

Crazy No 17

At last I have reached the end of my list, yes I know it was only supposed to be 15 but I found a couple more that I liked.  Now I can go back to Number 1 and start to finish them.
